Born to Italian-Irish-German parents, she grew up as one of 10 children in the small Gulf-shore town of La Porte, Texas. From the start, she learned how to deal with people in a warm, friendly, and effective way. After graduating from The University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas, she enjoyed a 10-year career as a Registered Nurse in Houston. She came to Marin in 1986 for a new beginning, first settling in Mill Valley. Since then, she has lived in Sausalito, Larkspur, and now resides in Corte Madera with her husband, Alan.
In her spare time Madeline, can be found dancing with the local Marin dance company, "The Don't Quit Your Day Job" dancers, who perform annually at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. In addition to dancing, Madeline occasionally plays saxophone and clarinet. Being married to a gourmet chef, Madeline has brought her Southern hospitality and rich Italian heritage into her current busy lifestyle at home, where she and her husband entertain frequently.
Her Real Estate career started by assisting a friend in finding a rental house. From there, Madeline proceeded directly to become a Licensed Real Estate Broker, forming Madeline Schaider Real Estate in 1990. Madeline's vision was to adapt her real estate practice to each client, giving them what they wanted and needed. As you work with Madeline, you'll appreciate how well she has succeeded.
