They guided us initially in getting the house ready to show to buyers. At their suggestion, we replaced original carpeting in part of the house (it looked much better!) and removed many of our personal items that we collected over 28 years.

They ordered a pest control inspection before the house went up for sale. The result confirmed our suspicion that the house was free from damage. Alan saved us a large expense by obtaining repairs to the sewer line. The plumbing contractor who repaired the plumbing earlier in the year agreed to correct the work at no cost. Alan also arranged for a handyman to fix, at a reasonable cost, a few issues with the house.

Alan and Madeline showed the house to agents and buyers every Sunday and most Wednesdays. And, they were always available to arrange special showings. We were constantly informed of the interest in our house and the status of the real estate market in Novato. In less than two months our house was sold at a good price, and in a little over three months we were able to move to our new home.
