Beat Bossart was our agent for our first home purchase and he was definitely the right person for the job. In hindsight, Beat estimated the cost of home improvement projects very accurately. With this ability, Beat saved us from buying 3 or 4 houses which needed major work that we wouldn’t have been able to afford.
We ended up buying a PUD (Planned Unit Development) in Fairfax that only needed paint, carpets, and a couple of odd jobs. Before the purchase was final, Beat brought in a very observant (if not slightly pessimistic) inspector who exposed everything and I mean everything negative about the PUD. We knew EXACTLY what we were buying. A few years later, we feel like we got a bargain on a home that we love.
