Muir Beach Homes

Muir Beach is a community of 150 homes, many overlooking two small beaches and views of the rugged coastline–all the way to San Francisco. Our colleague Debra Allen has a charming website that gives you an overview of Muir Beach. Notable stopping places in this community are the Pelican Inn and Green Gulch Zen Center and Farm.

Bolinas Homes

Bolinas is an isolated community of about 1,200 people. If you want the feeling of being in an extraordinary place, this is a delightful place to visit or live. Good places to visit for the local ambiance are the Bolinas Café and Smiley’s Schooner Saloon and Hotel, both downtown, and The Marin-Bolinas Botanical Gardens, 14 acres of succulents and rare plants, created by Dr. Herman Schwartz, a retired physician.

Stinson Beach Homes

Stinson Beach, CAStinson Beach represents the high end of real estate on the Marin Coast. There are elegant oceanfront homes in the Seadrift community and hillside estates with wide panoramas of the ocean and coastline. It is a small town with only about 750 permanent residents. The main street has good local restaurants, including the Parkside Café and the the Breakers Cafe. The best part of Stinson Beach may be the miles-long walks on the beach, starting downtown at the Stinson Beach Park, part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.
