Greenbrae Hills, located to the north of Sir Frances Drake Boulevard – from Highway 101 to Wolf Grade in Kentfield – was developed in 1946, with over 1,000 homes built through the mid-1960’s. The home sites begin on level land near Sir Frances Drake Boulevard and climb the hill along terraced roads with Spanish names like La Questa and Via Lerido. Views from this south-facing hill are toward the Bay and Mt. Tamalpais.
Greenbrae is all about location, with quick access to Highway 101, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge, and the Larkspur Ferry. The excellent Bon Air Shopping Center is at the bottom of the hill, minutes away. Greenbrae and Kentfield share an excellent school system. To complete the picture, Greenbrae has about the best weather in Marin County!
